Our goal in Bolivia is to come alongside them in support of their building a new school and gym for 1,200 children. The old school and gym were destroyed by a storm and needs to be rebuilt. The school is famous for its pro sports work. They have been national champions with their under 18 soccer team. The school is situated in Cobija, close to the borders of Peru and Brazil. As they do a lot of social work, they support Indians and other children that seldom have access to education. As the school is a private school, the students must pay to attend.
Funding for the project goes to help find administrators and teachers for the school, the rebuilding of the school, scholarships for students, and a host of other things related to the project. Because of the financial crisis in Bolivia, every penny helps.
